I have been inspired by my daughter Nikki who also is a Mary Kay Consultant, but her primary mission in life is serving our country in the US Navy. Thank you very much in advance for your support. I hope you will pass this on to family and friends. The funds I earn from the sale of these products will go toward the needs of all our horses.

The Name that Foal Poll for Jerri is now closed and we have your picks for names: If it's a colt, it will be Nellie's Dream (barn name Dreamer) and if it's a filly, it will be Nellie's Hope (barn name Hope).

It will depend on colt or filly as to who will be the recipient of the keepsake memory box and the exclusive picture of the baby. Stay tuned!

We will start the poll for Apple soon.

Please note that the poll does not seem to work with Mozilla Firefox, but does with Windows Internet Explorer.

One person, one vote! It may be possible to fool the software (it usually is), but the safest thing is to expect to be able to vote only once per colt and once per filly (per mare).

Thursday update 2

UPDATE ON NELLIE: I RECEIVED A CALL FROM DR. SHUR. THERE HAS ONLY BEEN A TINY REDUCTION OF THE GAS IN BOWEL. NELLIE IS COMFORTABLE. THE VET WANTS TO CONTINUE FLUIDS THIS MORNING AND TUBING ONE MORE TIME. IF NOTHING HAPPENS BY THIS AFTERNOON, THEN WE HAVE TO DISCUSS SURGERY ASAP. NELLIE HAS THREE THINGS AGAINST HER, SIZE, LONGEVITY, AND IN FOAL WHICH COULD GIVE INTO COMPLICATIONS AND POSSIBLE LOSS OF NOT ONLY NELLIE BUT HER UNBORN. BUT IF WE DO NOTHING, THEN WE LOSE.

THE OFFICE STAFF AT DESERT PINE EQUINE CENTER HAS STATED THAT THEY WILL TAKE CREDIT CARD DONATIONS FROM NELLIE SUPPORTERS. IF YOU WANT TO DONATE TOWARDS NELLIE, PLEASE STATE TO THEM "THIS IS FOR NELLIE OF MHR"
