All of you are just wonderful to keep watch on her. It is chilly here this morning. We are expecting gusts of up to 50mph today...greeeattt, of course I washed water barrels out.
I spoke out loud last night and stated that this is going to be a special baby. They are all special, but this baby will be a reminder of our Nellie and Lil Angel, this baby will remind us of what Jerri had to endure in her life as well as the PMU mares that are still suffering. These horses were never given a choice. As so many of the horses seen at rescues, they were never given a choice as to the injuries they sustained, they were never given a choice of being sent to auction, they were never given a choice to stop performing for their owners, age just crept up on them and they were no longer wanted. So many excuses.
The FOB's and so many wonderful people across our nation and world are making a difference in these horses lives. You are making the difference in their lives as well as the difference in so many other animals lives. You have love and compassion in your hearts, never lose sight of this because YOU ARE making a difference in the lives of so many. Each of you has touched my heart in your own special way, I may never get to meet all of you, but you have made a difference in my life...so imagine what you have done for the furbabies and your fellow man around the world.
