This is Half Moon. He has been with us since July of 2001. Half Moon was seriously abused in his former life and has many many issues (mentally). However, after being with us for this many years he has come around. He does have multiple personalities and we have become accustomed to the changes of each one. He cannot to this day be tied up to groom or do his feet. The abuse he received was generally received while tied. So we handle him differently as we do each horse at our facility because no two horses are the same. We always know that he is going to cow kick one time when having his feet done. But, he has come a long long way from where he was in 2001.
