Greetings to all of you who support Miracle Horse Rescue & Sanctuary!
On behalf of Stephanie, the founder of MHR&S, I need to let you all know the horses do need additional hay. A bale of hay has increased to $19.00 - Animal House in Pahrump has the best quality hay recommended by the vets who serve the MHR&S horses. Adoption of horses had been a source of income for MHR&S but no adoptions are pending at this point in time - due to the poor economy. Some people are giving away sound horses because they can't afford to keep them, others are even just letting horses loose to fend for themselves.
MHR&S has provided a safe haven for many horses in need for the past 11 years and is committed to continue this worthy cause. Stephanie & Rob are constantly re-evaluating the most cost effective way to care for the rescued horses and mules and provide for their individual needs.
We'd like to ask for bales of hay to be purchased directly from Animal House, in Pahrump (775-537-1777), please ask for John, the owner. MHR&S needs a minimum of 10 bales of hay for this coming week. If you are able to help out for the week of 7/20 - 7/27 please place an order with Animal House and also let Stephanie know here on ABR or e-mail her privately at miraclehorserescue@gmail.com.
