Good Morning Fellow Grammies,
I thought for sure we were having a baby last night. As I sit here typing, I am pulling hair from my keyboard, as I was grabbing my hair and pulling at one point....lol...yelling DO IT!!!!! I looked over my shoulder and there is Rob sawing logs...grrrrr...he told me wake me when she goes down for the 10th time, and then he smiled and said "No Baby Horse for Yewwwwwww" Big Grrrrrrr!
I am so excited about here having this baby. I thought I had learned from Misty and Rosie to remain calm, but I went to pacing watching her. I feel very very protective of these girls and I want them to feel comfortable and safe, not having to worry about predators as in their past.
We now close the dog run at night, as to keep the dogs isolated. The dogs do not phase Apple or Jerri, but I do not want them to fear them while giving birth. This worked very well for Misty and Rosie. So same plan was implemented.
Tomorrow our sweet Misty will be 27 and I am sure she will not mind sharing her day with a little one. Well, I best get ready for my day. I hope all of you have a wonderful day, please pray for a safe and healthy foaling.
Lub to All
Stephanie
