First, I would like to wish LindaH and very HAPPY HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!!!!!! It was wonderful having you here. Your help was truly appreciated, but now today is the day you should just kick it and enjoy.

It has been so busy since this past Thursday with the arrival of Linda, Diane and Shannon. Cathy arrived Friday evening. LindaNV and Roger out on Saturday, my parents over that evening and we had a wonderful dinner together.

Of course a day cannot go by with something going on. Friday afternoon, Dr. Hadland had to come and stitch up Destiny. He cut himself above the nose. He received 5 inside stitches and 14 outside. He was a real champ through it all. It looks very very good today, he had zero swelling. What's the saying???? "Chicks dig scars." Dr. Adam says he won't have a scar.

The horses received soooooooooo many carrots this weekend, and were all quite happy with their treats. They are all doing well. Cathy took Marigold for a bit of a walk-about and Marigold let Cathy know when she was ready to head back home.

Then there is Faith, oh Faith...she has worn us all down. But many strides have been made with her. I have managed to get her to eat from my hand, take a carrot but this biggest reward was yesterday when I caught her up and was able to brush her for the first time. Amazing!!!! It is the simple things like this that make what we do so so rewarding. It is a tiny crack in her shell and she has given way to it.

Now if she would just have this little Baboo all will be right in the world. We are expecting Paul and Karen of ND on the 14th of this month, and Ron and Patti Cross will be joining us for dinner that evening since they are all from the same neck of the woods. Should be a great evening.

Well, everyone have a wonderful day!
