Good Morning All,
It is truly a very special day! Justice was born on this day one year ago. He is the foal of the fourth PMU mare rescued by FOBs and Special Friends.....FAITH. It would not have been possible if not for all of you.
Justice is growing into a magnificent looking horse. He is bright and willing to learn. At six hours old he took his first walk all by himself.
Oh what a day that was. We watched his mother and him bond and grow. It was simply amazing.
Thank you all very much for your continued support...it is all of you who make it possible on a daily basis to care for the horses at Miracle Horse Rescue.

Good Morning Everyone,
It was a wonderful weekend! We had a great anniversary. Thank you all for the e-cards and of course the beautiful cake and pie Lucy!
The horses are all doing well. Electra now talks when it comes feeding time. How quickly they learn from others. I do hope you enjoyed the pics and video of her. She is very charming and sweet. Very very curious. Charity is doing great! She is an excellent mother. In fact, all of the horses are doing great..knock on wood. No issues or problems is a true blessing. A day without a vet is a GOOD DAY!
We hope you all have a wonderful and safe week! Don't forget to bid on this item, it is a beautiful photograph and it is signed by Barbara Livingston. Just beautiful.

Thank you all for the anniversary wishes!!!!
Rob and feel that we are blessed to have found one another. We were married 11 years ago today, and we began an exciting journey in our lives, with many many trials and tribulations, but through it all we have stood by one another. The one thing we have is honesty between one another and communication. We have always made plans together, one always knowing what the other was doing. No secrets. One of the many reasons our marriage has been successful is the open line of communication in every aspect of our marriage as well as lives. We know what the other is doing...we do have a bond. There have been individuals through the eleven years that did not understand what we had, and have even made attempts to destroy what we had and we laugh in their face. It's truly a shame that they just don't "GET IT." Well, here we are eleven years later continuing to walk down our path, hand in hand, loving one another and living the dream of a successful marriage and life, doing what we love and standing by one another through thick and thin.
Again many many Thanks for Your wonderful wishes!!!!!!

It has been a good day. Busy but good. I had the opportunity to sit in the chair in Electra and Charity's stall. Of course Charity was a bit snorty, but Electra was like hey whats that?? She came over for skirtches and then just kind of hung around. If I moved the chair she would move too. Charity actually came over as well figuring if her daughter could do it why not her.
Crystal and Gail were here pretty much all day, helping with anything they could plus enjoying their own horses. They stayed for dinner and we had a wonderful time. Next time you all talk to Gail on chat, ask her how she samples sauce.
It was a good day, and I want to say Thank You all for everything! Have a wonderful weekend all. Be safe everyone!!!!!

Good Morning Everyone,
It has been a miserable few days with the wind and the dust. But that is what we must endure living in the desert. However, per our weatherman our temps have been really mild, in fact he stated in ref: to yesterdays temps it was like February weather not May.
Justice is doing very very well, getting to be such a big boy. He is easy to handle, gets a bit excited when he sees something new but that is to be expected. For the most part nothing fazes him. He is now approximately 14 plus hands and not even a year old close but not yet...not until the 25th. :)
Electra and Charity are both doing so so well. Electra is a little charm, and at her age wonderful to handle. We are taking everything very slowly with her. She is so curious, her little nose feels like velvet and her coat like soft wool. Just too cute.
All else is well here, we are suppose to have more winds today, NW gusts up to 20 mph but that is nothing compared to what we have had.
I hope everyone has a wonderful day!

Good Morning All.
I can assure you all yesterday was a very special day. After the loss of our dear sweet Hagan, the birth of Electra (a good thing) and just some of the day to day stresses, visiting with the baby goats was a wonderful treat.
Those babies were so sweet and let me tell you quite quick. But never fearful. You would touch them and they would bound away, but turn back and look at you like well are you coming after me?? They were born two weeks ago and of course they have been getting lots of cuddles from everyone.
Yesterday evening when I fed Charity and Electra, I decided to go hang out with them. Well, Electra treated me with nose touches and she was given lots of skirtches. Charity continued eating with no concerns. So I sat there on the ground loving on this little long eyelashed beauty. When I was leaving, she was doing little rear ups and some tiny bucks next to her mom as if saying " Did you see what I did mom" Whoo Hoo.
Thank you to each and everyone of you from the front of the scenes to those that are behind the scenes for everything and I mean everything you do. You make such a difference. You are a group of women and gentleman with so much class, and graciousness.

A special treat, 5/4/10
Triplet Pygoras
Hey Lady and Guy what are you looking at?
Are we not too cute for our own good?
The Miracle of Life, and the joys all of our furbabies give to us. This little one had no fear whatsoever. Was just loving the touch and skirtches, and kisses.

Frankly Speaking, May 3, 2010
He's wearing sports medicine boots on all four corners. He has these on so he'll be used to anything and everything if the occasion arises.
Thank you all for your questions. I'll be answering as time allows. The first question is from Linda:
I would like to know the steps you take to evaluate a horse to determine what the horse should be trained forHi Linda,
Thanks for the question. The truth for me is I let the horse show me where his/her interest and strengths lie. When I used to train, people would bring me their horses and say: I want you to make a head horse or a heel horse out of him/her. I would never agree to their requests until i spent time with that particular animal. Just because a person heads or heels doesn't mean the horse they currently have is going to be the best candidate for them as a mount or for the job they want the horse to do. I used the example of rope horses; however it applies to all disciplines. Yes the physical characteristics of the animal can be an advantage or a limitation, which definitely has to be considered. However if the heart isn't into it or the mind can't comprehend it, it will never work out, no matter how good it looks on paper. Speculation is extremely difficult and most trainers that I work with will never guarantee anything. All they'll do is see if there's any interest and talent in that particular discipline. I hope this answers your question.
Happy trails!
