I feel good......I knew that I would now.... There is an angel living at MHR and his name is Justice.... My grammie knows the perfect spot to make me feel so gooood.... New life is all around..... B to Spirit - "Are you thinking what I'm thinking?" It's time to wash the ball.... We like to make loud splashy noises.... Team work makes the job easier... The beautiful Miss Jerri and always adorable and sweet Apple. I love how Apple's mane is all wavy from the rain... Notice Jonah getting in on the picture too! While we were all away for a while at the feed store, Spirit managed to let Sophie out of her pen and into the play area with him and B. Rob is putting in stronger reinforcement but I have a feeling Spirit is snickering behind his back -
The best way to help the equines at MHR&S is to assist in feed cost. Hay orders can be called in to Star Nursery in Pahrump (1-775-727-5300) and speak to Tyson. Donations are tax deductible.

Miracle Horse Rescue Inc. is a federally-recognized 501(c)3 non-profit organization which is dedicated to the preservation and welfare of abused, neglected and unwanted domesticated horses of all types and conditions. Miracle Horse Rescue does not receive Federal or state funding, and relies totally on the generosity of public donations. It is the goal of Miracle Horse Rescue to rehabilitate each horse to the best of its ability, and then to locate placement into a "Forever" home through our adoption program. Miracle Horse Rescue is anti-slaughter, and those horses deemed unadoptable because of varying disabilities will live out the rest of their lives at the Miracle Horse Rescue facility, receiving the care and love they so justly deserve. At the end of their lives, when all treatment has been tried and the decision is made that further attempts are futile, the only option becomes humane euthanasia by a qualified/certified/licensed equine veterinarian.
