Well would you look at this! Buttercup does have ears. Remember Buttercup came to us from PA, she was very thin and suffered from heaves. She has never had an incident of heaves since she has been here and has put on weight.
Here is Crusin Bay aka CB OTTB, she is in her early 20's and had a right rear broken leg. Previous owner wanted to sell her to an individual to breed her. She had a savior step in and buy her to prevent this breeding. She was brought to us shortly after the the purchase.

Here is Halfmoon. He has been at MHR since 7/01. He is a Mustang (freeze brand on neck) but HalfMoon is not just a Mustang - he is a horse w/ many many personalities

Muffin 41 yrs old this year
Shiloh aka Shy Girl.. Blind Appaloosa..MHR's first rescue 8 yrs ago..she was 17 at the time of rescue
Silky..8 yrs old...was totally hairless when she arrived 3 yrs ago from CO Springs
Simba Marie.. late 20's per Dr. Adam Hadland. She was rescued Labor Day Weekend of 07 and FOBs from all over were present at her arrival
Simba Marie had been starved, halter was too small and left permanent reminder
