Excellent Monday Morning to All!!!
I arrived home to Nevada last night. Though I will miss my daughter and wonderful grandchildren (already do) there is NO PLACE LIKE HOME. No matter where you live, there is NO PLACE LIKE HOME!
From what I saw in VA it is a beautiful beautiful state! So lush, so green and sooooooo wet!! LOL. There was only one dry day when I was there, but I guess that is what makes this state so pretty.
Today is the day, that FAITH is MOVING MOUNTAINS!!!!! I know that many people think we are a sappy lot, but that's okay. It is our goal on an annual basis to help one to two PMU mares. We cannot do more than that, not saying we don't wish we could. We do not have the land. I wish we had more but we do not. So we work with what we have. Financially, it is very costly to care for these big girls, and I commend those that are able to help the Drafties! I have met some wonderful rescuers and adopters of the Draft Breeds. We have been able to exchange information and discuss the issues that arise with the Draft breeds. I would like to express my gratitude to Sheila for purchasing the book written by Dr. Valentine, DVM regarding Draft Horses and their care. Excellent reference guide for the ranch!

I have the biggest butterflies in my stomach this morning, kinda like waiting for Santa Claus or the Easter Bunny! We should hear from John several times, and I am sure he is relieved that this is a "TURKEY FREE ZONE"
