She is even more beautiful than her pictures. I really tried to capture her but am not sure that I did. One thing she does is after she is fed she puts her front feet in the feed bin (which is on the ground) and eats that way. She is capable of eating with her feet out of the bin, but apparently likes this way better. She came up to me and demanded carrots. She also allowed me to stroke her head and nose. She is very soft and velvety.
Marigold and Hagan
What can you say about Marigold? She snores, she sighs and moans and is generally a sweet old girl. She and Hagan obviously enjoy each other’s company. Altho she doesn’t particularly like getting medicine, she stands there and allows Stephanie to put the medicine on her and to squirt the other in her mouth. Football Team
Watching them interact is always entertaining. The dynamic is always changing. Altho Dublin is the current leader, he is being challenged again by the former leader Levi. Who will win? As leader is not forever it’s anyone’s guess. They were given a new ball – a red one, that Trooper immediately decided was evil. He spent a lot of time trying to kill it, and after we found the ball deflated several hours later, I believe he finally did it. Gracie is just a beauty and Jonah is as sweet as ever. Every time I went over there, Dublin and Jonah came trotting over. Even when I showed them I didn’t have carrots. Whiskey tried to help Trooper kill the ball but lost interest. All in all, they worked things out between all of them – they appear to be a great herd.
