Over the weekend we had some rain. Today is going to be a tractor day. Rob has gone to get fuel for the tractor.
I am awaiting word from our hauler as to how Marigold and Destiny are doing this morning. I know they are busy, and when they tell you they will give you an update they do. Throughout their trip I received emails from their Horseberry and when they got the chance to call they did.
We are prepared for their arrival and I do look forward to Dr. Adam checking them out on Friday. I have discussed Destiny w/ him in detail and after his reading the report from WSU, he feels there could be some alternatives to surgery, but he wants to visually see for himself. In his opinion "surgery" is a last resort.
The other issue we have, and it is not an issue, is Destiny must be gelded and this will be determined on Friday as well to ensure that he has dropped and that we can do it before fly season. Both of our vets prefer not to geld during the warmer season, but they will. Dr. Adam did an excellent job on Spirit, and he recovered quite rapidly with zero complications.
So, as soon as I hear from the haulers, I will let you know. However, it may be later in the day for me to post update.
