Good Morning to Everyone,
Last night's final check of the horses was at 11pm. Little Bear was doing well very well, and this morning he is doing just as well. He has been munching on his Sr. Equine and Rice Bran. This morning he will be started on psyllium, and this will continue over the next seven days. He is drinking, and all systems are working.
As I stated yesterday, Dr. Hadland will be here on the 9th and Little Bear will receive a complete exam and more than likely much needed dental work. So he will be kept on a soft diet. If you are watching Justin TV, you will see there is a bale of hay in the RP. He is pretty much just nosing through it and picking the tiny grains out of it. This was also the first indication that we knew he needed dental work. His mash had already been prepared but he went there first and we watched.
He is a very sweet little old gentleman, and has been welcomed into our family.
